Join the cackling witches, mighty ninjas, fair princesses, and superheros on the downtown streets during the annual downtown trick or treating event. Costumed trick or treaters can visit businesses in downtown Eau Claire on Barstow and Graham Ave. from the south end by the YMCA to Madison Street. Don’t miss the side streets and West Grand Ave. as well! Children should be accompanied by an adult.

New RFP for 2 S Barstow

The Eau Claire Redevelopment Authority (RDA) is seeking proposals for the purchase and redevelopment of a property located at 2 South Barstow Street. The property is located in the southern section of the North Barstow Redevelopment District on the Eau Claire River across from Phoenix Park Neighborhood. The RDA is looking for a high quality, attractive, commercial/residential development that will fit the already established mixed use development in the South Barstow area and complement the newly developed area surrounding Phoenix Park. Join us this Wednesday, October 28 at 7 p.m.  (Haymarket Grill) for the next in a series of laid-back discussions Idea Lounge X: The Urban Battle will discuss the new urbanism, whether or not are the suburbs truly dead, and what will Eau Claire look like in 2025.
