Wisconsin Secretary of Commerce Richard Leinenkugel has confirmed his attendance at the 2009 Jump-Start Awards on August 6, 2009 at 5.30 p.m. at the RCU Corporate Center in downtown Eau Claire.
His keynote speech will mark the 5th anniversary of the Jump-Start Downtown Business Plan Competition and our effort to bring new business downtown. During the previous 4 years the competition has awarded $30,000, helped 11 new businesses get started, and created 40 new jobs. You can learn the details of the competition here.
