Join the cackling witches, mighty ninjas, fair princesses, and superheros on the downtown streets during the annual downtown trick or treating event. Costumed trick or treaters can visit businesses in downtown Eau Claire on Barstow and Graham Ave. from the south end by the YMCA to Madison Street. Don’t miss the side streets and West Grand Ave. as well! Children should be accompanied by an adult.

Lt. Governor attending a 25 year celebration downtown

ltgovnWisconsin Lt. Governor Barbara Lawton visited Eau Claire on Thursday, July 16 to present the keynote address at a celebration event in downtown.

The South Barstow Business Improvement District (BID) is celebrating 25 years as the first and oldest BID in Wisconsin.  NEW downtown banners were unveiled as well as updated kiosks.  A short reception followed the event at Houligan’s Steak and Seafood Pub; 415 South Barstow St.
